Is It Advisable to Use Custom Search Description on Individual Blogger Post?

Personally, I was worried about using Search Description on each post on my blogger blog. Which made me go into further research about it. Below is the outcome of what I explored, which I decided to share with my faithful readers!

When using a search engine (such as Google.com), you probably see some lines of text underneath your search results that helps you decide whether or not that’s the site you want.
Let's take for example: This is what appears when you search for “Blogger tips.” The descriptive line of text that appears under the link is the search description.

Basically, If you don't specify a search description for your blog or blog post, search engines will establish one for you based on your blog’s content but if you do, the search description will be base on the description you executed. Which means that your S.E description appearance will only display for the custom description only.

Below is how to Add Custom Description to Blogger;
Whole Blog: To create your own search description, just go to Settings => Search Preferences and click Edit next to "Description" to reveal a text field. Select Yes, write in your text, and click Save changes.

For Individual Post: Enabling this feature will display a “Search Description” option in the Post Settings panel that allows you to enter a search description for individual posts.

Now you have the choice to choose whether to us search description on each blog post or not.
My question now is, "Is it advicable to use custom Search description for individual blogger post?
